DGS Iron Chipped
Rebz is a 2018 AQHA/APHA/PtHA mare by HBF Iron Man out of Charlie Chipped (Dont Skip Charlie X Zips Chocolate Chip). I purchased Rebz in August of 2022 to pursue Over Fence Classes, Dressage, and other events. My focus has changed and have decided Rebz is too nice to not be showing.

About Rebz
-
Easy to ride, no lunging needed.
-
Due to greenness, Rebz does require an intermediate rider.
-
No vices, great to trailer, clips well, good for farrier, and excellent for vet.
-
Will stand at a trailer all day at a show.
-
Doesn't change when in season.
-
Good in a stall with some turnout, pen, or pasture.
-
Same at home and away. Handles the chaos of the show atmosphere with zero issues.
-
Started on very green changes.
-
Jumping but needs more experience. I have jumped her up to 3'3"-3'9" courses at home.
-
Jump one day, trail ride the next. Go to a show, then ride her bareback.
-
Rebz is very versatile that will eventually be a family horse, were anyone can ride.

I was asked for many different videos, so I figured I would put them all in one. This was all taken today (6/2/2023). I apologize it’s so long. You’re welcome to fast forward sections if you don’t need to see them.

-(Missing a jump distance to see her reaction)
5. Unmount from an English Saddle
6. Untack Ground Tied
7. Mount, Walk, Trot, Canter, and Jump Bareback with a Bridle
8. Tacking Up Western
9. Mounting from the Ground
10. Walk, Trot, Canter, and Back Up in an Western Saddle
11. Have My Foot Hit Her Rump and Neck
12. Unmount From Western Saddle

16. Again, Touch Her Rump with Feet and Head.
Jumping
This picture is from Rebz's first time jumping a course and jumping lines. She had only popped over a couple fences before this. Rebz shows great willingness, scope, and excellent form. Plus, she is so comfortable over the fences with her soft bascule and landing. I super excited to see where our jumping career leads us.
Roping
I love to do everything all my horses. Rebz is learning about roping, so I can go help out ranchers on their properties.
Desensitization
Before I hit the trails other than home, I want to make sure that Rebz is trail safe. I need to prepare her for situations, should it arise. Rope on the legs while ridden is one item I work on, should and item get wrapped on their leg while on the trail. I want to instill safety and calmness.
Western
Rebz and I are both learning Western Riding and are enjoying our journey together.
Dressage
Rebz is starting to learn dressage. She is developing nice balance, a wonderful reaching trot, and a lovely uphill canter. Rebz was invited to be in two L Judge Training Program's. She did spectacular in a new place, snow sliding off the roof, and performing movements she had not done before. I am very pleased with how she performed those days. Rebz received numerous praises on her movement, temperament, and talent.
1st Horse Show
Rebz and I went to her first horse October 29th, 2022. She had jumped a little over 10 times ever and was spectacular. The fence height was 2'6" with very hard questions and elaborately decorated for Halloween. Rebz handled the electric environment of warm-up and showed with ease. She was super dependable, had a huge try, safe, and nice bascule. I am very proud of Rebz with her attitude and trustworthiness.
Cross Country
Rebz's first experience on the cross country was a huge success. She went through water, over ditches, up and down banks, and over all different looking type jumps. Calm and collected for every element.
First AQHA Show- (2nd Show)
Rebz and I went to our first breed show. It was a good learning experience. I’m super rusty. But Rebz did her most important job beautifully, take care of mom.
Water Experience
First time playing in pond and me swimming bareback on Rebz's back. I have video of us walking in the water but couldn't video the time we went swimming.
